Wayglass 8.9
$329.00
The Wayglass 8.9 is a portable CarPlay screen for drivers who want phone controls in an older vehicle without replacing the radio. Its 8.9-inch IPS display reaches 1,000 nits and has a matte, optically bonded cover. It connects wirelessly, runs from a 12 V or 24 V outlet, and sends sound through AUX or FM.

Made for older dashboards
Use Wayglass in a car, van, or work vehicle that lacks a built-in CarPlay display. The screen starts with the vehicle and reconnects to the last paired phone. It adds navigation and calls without changing the factory radio.
Readable in bright cabins
The 1920 x 720 IPS panel reaches 1,000 nits. Optical bonding reduces internal reflections, while the matte glass cuts glare from side windows. A physical dial adjusts volume without opening a menu.
Aluminum housing and removable mounts
The screen housing is anodized aluminum with a matte glass face. The box includes an acrylic-foam dashboard mount and a suction windshield mount. A locking magnetic plate lets the screen lift off while the mount stays in place.
Audio through the car
Use the 3.5 mm AUX output when the vehicle has an AUX input. The built-in FM transmitter works with older radios. A 2 W speaker is included for prompts when neither connection is practical.

The screen stays clear in my delivery van at midday. AUX audio sounds cleaner than the FM option.
I mounted it above the radio in my 2009 wagon. It reconnects before I leave the driveway.
The display is easy to read and the dial is useful with gloves. I needed the windshield mount because my dashboard was too curved.
