Shiftwell 75 Heated Lunch Box
$89.00
The Shiftwell 75 is a plug-in heated lunch box for shift workers and drivers who do not have a microwave. Its 1.5 L stainless steel tray reheats a chilled meal from 4°C to 74°C in about 40 minutes on 120 V AC power. Included adapters support wall outlets and 12 V or 24 V vehicle sockets.

Hot food during long shifts
Use it when a break room is closed or a route keeps you in the vehicle. Pack a cooked meal in the morning, keep it chilled, then plug it in 35 to 45 minutes before lunch. It is made for reheating prepared food, not cooking raw meat.
Built for desks and vehicle cabs
The flat base sits on a desk or level cab surface. A locking lid and silicone gasket help contain sauces during upright transport. Open the steam vent before heating, then keep 10 cm of clear space above the lid.
Food-contact materials
The removable tray is 304 stainless steel with a 1.5 L working capacity. The lid is BPA-free polypropylene. A removable platinum-cured silicone gasket seals the tray edge.
Controlled reheating
The AC heating plate draws up to 75 W. Vehicle mode draws up to 60 W. A fixed thermostat cycles between 75°C and 85°C at the plate to warm food without direct flame.

I plug it in near the end of my morning hospital round. Rice and stew are hot by my break about 40 minutes later.
It heats more slowly in my van than at home, as the guide says. The lid has kept sauce inside during upright transport.
The tray holds one large meal and lifts out without trouble. I like that the powered base only needs a wipe.
