Rill C4 Countertop RO System
$429.00
Rill C4 is a countertop reverse osmosis system for renters and households of one or two that want filtered tap water without a plumbing connection. Its 0.0001 micron membrane produces up to 7.5 L per hour. A 5 L feed tank and 1.2 L glass carafe support daily drinking and cooking.

Made for kitchens without a filter tap
Use Rill C4 in an apartment, office kitchen, or small home where drilling the counter is not an option. Fill the rear tank from the tap, select a volume, and place the carafe under the outlet. No faucet adapter is needed.
Four filtration stages
A sediment and carbon prefilter handles particles and chlorine. The reverse osmosis membrane reduces dissolved solids and lead. Water then passes through a carbon postfilter and a calcium mineral cartridge.
Less concentrate to empty
The system produces 4 L of purified water for each 1 L of concentrate under standard test conditions. Concentrate remains in the removable feed tank for disposal. Rated daily production is 22 L.
Materials and care
The water path uses food-contact polypropylene and silicone. The carafe is borosilicate glass with a stainless steel lid. Wash both removable tanks weekly, replace the composite prefilter every 6 months, and replace the RO membrane every 24 months.

I rent, so I needed something that did not touch the faucet. It fits beside my coffee maker and fills the carafe in about 10 minutes.
The feed tank is easy to carry from the sink. I empty the concentrate after each full cycle, which is simpler than I expected.
The water tastes neutral and the controls are clear. I needed the full 15 cm of space above it to remove the rear tank.
